Limited One (1) Year Warranty

WEBSTER® Hardness Testers and their parts (excluding normal usage of the penetrator and test strip) are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. During this period, WII will repair a defective tester or part at no charge. All shipping, insurance, and any applicable customs fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Warranty Conditions

• Read the Instruction Manual thoroughly before use. Damage due to mishandling is not covered.
• Proof of purchase is required, including the origin of purchase, serial number, and date.
• All warranty servicing must be completed at Webster Instrument, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA.
• This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications.
• Warranties are void if the tester’s serial number has been removed, altered, or defaced.

Legal Disclaimers

All warranties implied by state law, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one (1) year. Some states do not allow such limitations, so they may not apply to you. In no event shall WII be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

No dealer, distributor, or representative is authorized to modify the terms of this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights depending on your state.
